If you love a book full of drama, and twist and turns, then this is the book for you.Now I have recently gotten into the African-American Young Adult Genre, and this book has me hooked. I have always loved to read and have longed to read books about teens like me, so I looked it up one day, then i Came across This one. And I couldn't be more happier.
Due to me being in school and all and dealing with work and sports and all. It's hard for me to deal with all of that just being 15. So when I finally got the chance to read a book, I jumped. And as soon as I picked up this book and begin to read it, I couldn't put it down.
I absolutely LOVED this book!
Charmine really made the characters come alive and is so realistic it's was difficult not to keep my thoughts in my head. A series of, "Oh no he/she didn't!" came from my mouth almost every page, making my family look at me like I was crazy.
I didn't know what side I was on, and who i did and didn't feel bad for. It was all too crazy, because while reading, you can't help but care for each of the characters.
When the book came to an end, I didn't know how to feel. In a way I as happy for everyone, but then again, I wanted to see what could have been if things went a different way. So to me it was bittersweet, because I didn't know how to feel about how everything turned out, because I'm so undecisive, about everything that went down.
Hopefully the will be more, because I would hate to be the last of Neisha, Marcus, Lynda, Trent, Bryanna, & the rest of the Clique Boys.

I loved this book. It took me back to memory lane and High School.
The teens in this story came to life one page after the next.

How exciting to see a teenager publishing a book! I was very impressed by the word choice in this novel; it made the characters' personalites come to life. The unique point of view was a creative choice that let me get into the heads of more than just one character. I was torn on who's side I was on because I felt like I knew all the characters. I hope this book is a stepping stone for this young author. She seems to have the talent to make this her career )
